Bad Cat

Bad Cat
You're going a little too fast for a girl from the right side of the tracks
Wasn't it only yesterday you asked what a Pontiac was?
And now you've got a crew of your own and a 53,000 loan
Ah ah ah ah
This bad cat's got in over her head
And what a shame it is
Think what she could do with a one-time interaction
To learn that it takes more than blood and sexual attraction
Told off by your nanny, your cousin, and Francis too
Decided you were too far gone, that you've got a demon in you
So armed with a butter knife you fought your way out of your cage
Gilded though it was you said your poor young soul was dead
This bad cat's got in over her head
And what a shame it is
Think what she could do with a one-time interaction
To learn that it takes more than blood and sexual attraction
Gonna take a long time
To realize the bite cannot be taught
There's a steel that's in the bones and hearts of
Those who breathe the stench, the spirit of this city far from home
Come up with foolproof plan, get a blueprint or two
Pick the locks and you'll see you're a green-thumbed little thief
But wear your gloves cause you can't stain your porcelain hands
Pretty little hands
Running down the alley, it's not a one-way street
Someone's waiting at the end, and they're dying to meet
The lovely girl who went insane trapped in her head
So she decided she'd go for adrenaline instead
Oh!
This bad cat's got in over her head
And what a shame it is
Think what she could do with a one-time interaction
To learn that it takes more than blood and sexual attraction
This bad cat is gonna lose her head
But this is nothing new
It won't be the last time the urchins shoot her dead
And leave her in a pool of blood in her own sweet bed

A Dark Red Sky

A Dark Red Sky
The camera's closing in, you can't see me now
There's nothing more they can do
Cause this time I've got a complicated plot
And it's hard to determine what's true
Stone cold revenge won't work
Some like it hot
This dark red sky's got me burning
A fever climbing up
Can't calm the coming storm
Can't see it coming from the trodden down, no
Girls that you push aside, oh well we push back
No more time I'm done with charts
I'm gonna eat your heart
Scales tipped against me for the moment, but you'll see
I'm too good, I've got to play the odds
Tight black boots with heels
I'm kicking down your door
Cause I'm gonna stain the earth
To match a dark red sky
Can't calm the coming storm
Can't see it coming from the trodden down, no
Women you push aside, we don't just push back
Big bad wolves forgot about the bitch
That's sleeping with the sheep
Tiny though I be, there's something more that you can't see
They've struck a nerve, but we've got double
We're clawing and scratching and biting to even the score
And baby I'm bleeding out
With an arm wrapped around her you convince yourself
You've taken her under your wing
But that's not quite true, so what can I do
To show you that she just can't breathe?
Stone cold revenge won't work
Some like it hot
This dark red sky's got me burning
A fever climbing up
This dark red sky's got me burning
A fever climbing up
Can't calm the coming storm
Can't see it coming from the trodden down, no
Women you push aside, we do more than push back

Small Talk

Small Talk
It's not my fault I think you're stupid
Look at all the things you did
You were wild and relentless
Such a reckless little kid
It's not my fault I think you're stupid
Look at all the things you said
You were lacking a filter
You were rude and now you're dead
I am the sun and I am the moon
I am all the things you should respect
I am the sky and I am the starlight
And I'm not ready to leave just yet
You made me feel inadequate and dumb
You made me feel that I had to run to keep up with you
When it was you holding me back
I am the sun and I am the moon
I am all the things you should respect
I am the sky and I am the starlight
And I'm not ready to leave just yet
I was never good at small talk anyway
So don't imagine I care
About the thoughts running through your head
It's not my fault I think you're stupid
Look at all the things you did
You were wild and relentless
Such a feckless little kid
Cause I am the sun
Don't give a damn what you say
And I am the moon
I'll push you out of my way
I was never good at small talk anyway
And I’m not ready to leave just yet (x2)
I need to come up with new words

Unknowable

Unknowable
I don't see a future for you
I don't think it's in the cards, oh
I don't see anything for you
Give up your hands, give up your eyes, and your heart
It's not the first time this has been required of you
But up till now you've been unknowable
Didn't think it would be so soon, but we figured you out
And as the stars fold into darkness
Your eyes lose their spark and start caving in
I'm your king and I'm your sorcerer
But my gaze is fatal and I can't give anyone my soul
It's not the first time this has been required of you
But up till now you've been unknowable
Didn't think it would be so soon, we'd figure you out
Down on your knees, you'll be
Make way for me, I'm coming unseen
The line's been crossed
I'm drowning
I don't see a future for you
I don't think it's in the cards
I don't see anything for you
Give up your hands
Give up your heart
